Last year, there was something charming about the layers of snow covering our outdoor dining space, which looked as if we’d just been out there eating al fresco that same day. The space seemed ready and waiting, and a little empty and abandoned.
This year, snow layers continue to fill the crevices of Canadian Shield granite along shorelines and roadways.
Snow does that. It fills in the gaps and spaces, turns rough edges smooth, and dark corners bright.
