Unexpected

2025:

View of the beach from a dune at Sandbanks Provincial Park (Ontario)
Up and over the top of a massive dune, we were surprised to find
a beach out of the pages of a tropical tourism brochure,
and trees blossoming in the sand.

2026:

Blue sky. White lilac. Green leaves, and a bee.
The white lilac was so striking in the brilliance of the blue sky, I zoomed in.
And there he was, a bee
doing what bees do.
