A loon looking straight ahead at the camera lens, instead of looking away in profile
I never really thought about it before, but a typical photo of a loon is in profile. Do they purposely turn their heads? Is that how they see us? Even the Canadian loonie is in profile.
Then this happened. He turned to me and I took his picture.
I feel like our eyes met, we connected. But maybe that’s just me.
