Mid-Air

A spider appears to be floating in mid-air while sunlight reveals a web in the sky
I stared out the window above my writing desk this morning and got easily distracted by sunlight catching strands of spider webs between the flowers, the birdfeeders, the bushes, and up into the trees.
I followed a strand up into the sky and spotted a tiny spec, got my camera, and zoomed in.
There she was. I’m not a fan of spiders, but how can I not be impressed?
Imagine the effort to weave and spin. How did she start it? How did she know to shape it in such a way that she can be suspended up above like that?
