Cows at the Corner

Four cows at the corner of our street
July was dry. I’m seeing more birds at the bird bath for water than at the feeder for food.
Forest fire smoke is in the air. Grass crunches. Flower blooms are shriveling.
Perhaps these cows came looking for some answers.
