Aqua Vita

Water Life. I couldn’t resist using the Latin; it simply sounds richer, more dimensional, and more joyful.

We were frequently awed by what we saw on Talbot Lake. In the absence of motor boats and jet skis, it’s where countless living things found rest and retreat. And, in the the day-to-day of life on the lake, we felt honored to witness things rarely seen by visitors and ‘weekenders’.

We humans have become the noisy and overbearing creatures of the natural world. We’ve forgotten our place in its ongoing balance. But here’s the thing: the rest of nature will just move on and away from us, and we may never realize what we’ve lost.
