A young fox takes a nap at the base of tree in our backyard
This fox lived in our neighbourhood until a car killed her. We found her body discarded in the ditch.
Here she is, napping in the embrace of a tree. Secure. Feeling protected.
My dog naps at my feet exactly the same way.
