An Eastern Tailed-blue Butterfly perched on the edge of a dried leaf in the forest
There it was: an Eastern Tailed-blue butterfly. Small, quick, and shy.
We weren’t hiking; more like sauntering, so we were graced with the sighting.
It’s so easy to miss such fragile visitations.
