A large swell of clouds reveal blue sky in the background and sunlight beaming through the opening
These sightings never last long enough. They’re there, and then they’re gone.
We think clouds are slow, that the earth we stand on is still.
But all is moving, all the time, and we’re lucky to catch a glimpse.
Maybe that’s why the ancients saw these brief wisps of water and light as connections to their gods.
