Tiny Titans

November 11

Pale green lichen slowly creeping over pink granite rock
Through a wide-angle lens, November seems dreary, colourless.
But, zooming in, there is life, silent and steadfast,
more brilliant than the eye-catching blooms of fleeting spring flowers,
and more resilient than the eldest of oaks.
