I couldn’t stop watching him. He hung around the feeder in every possible configuration, at times draping himself around it to claim it, particularly when the flash of a male red cardinal came at him.
It’s hard not admire his focus and determination while, at the same time, feeling pissed off by his selfishness and greed. Can survival instincts go awry?
