We complain about the smoke all over this continent, and then go inside to escape it.
Human homes threatened, some destroyed. Lives uprooted.
Birds with singed feathers. Baby cubs, with scorched paw pads, noses, and fur, their lungs burnt. So many offspring trapped and burned alive.
